Shabbat Word

Shabbat Shalom!
Covid-19 continues to ravage the world. Every night, I pray this Psalm for the continued well-being, security and prosperity of Yahuah’s people, Yisra`el, His land, Yisra`el, His set apart city Yerushalayim and my family spiritual and physical.
Psalm 91:1-16
91:1) He who dwells in the secret place of Ha`Elyon,
Will rest in the shadow of Shaddai.
91:2) I will say of Yahuah,
“He is my refuge and my fortress; My `Elohiym, in whom I trust.”
91:3) For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler,
And from the deadly pestilence.
91:4) He will cover you with His feathers.
Under His wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
91:5) You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day;
91:6) Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
91:7) A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it will not come near you.
91:8) You will only look with your eyes,
And see the recompense of the wicked.
91:9) Because you have made Yahuah your refuge,
And Ha`Elyon your dwelling place,
91:10) No evil shall happen to you,
Neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
91:11) For He will give His angels charge over you,
To guard you in all your ways.
91:12) They will bear you up in their hands,
So that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
91:13) You will tread on the lion and cobra.
You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
91:14) “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him.
I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
91:15) He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him, and honour him.
91:16) I will satisfy him with long life,
And show him my salvation (yeshu`ah).”
Psalm 19:1-15
19:1) For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.
19:2) The heavens declare the glory of `Elohiym.
The expanse shows His handiwork.
19:3) Day after day they pour forth speech,
And night after night they display knowledge.
19:4) There is no speech nor language,
Where their voice is not heard.
19:5) Their voice has gone out through all the earth,
Their words to the end of the world.
In them He has set a tent for the sun,
19:6) Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
19:7) His going forth is from the end of the heavens,
His circuit to its ends;
There is nothing hidden from its heat.
19:8) Yahuah’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahuah’s testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
19:9) Yahuah’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahuah’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
19:10) The fear of Yahuah is clean, enduring forever.
Yahuah’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
19:11) More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
19:12) Moreover by them is your servant warned.
In keeping them there is great reward.
19:13) Who can discern his errors?
Forgive me from hidden errors.
19:14) Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins.
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I will be upright,
I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
19:15) Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in your sight, Yahuah, my Rock, and my Redeemer.
A Word
Brand HaSatan: A Public Relations Coup (Part 3)
The following is an imaginary story taking place very early in the history of mankind. It is the third meeting between haSatan and a public relations demon.
Spindoc: Please come in and sit down. We still need to finalise your image. You have mentioned that you want to be as Almighty. One of His attributes is that He is omipresent, that He is everywhere at every time. What we need is a campaign to convince simple Man that you are.
HaSatan: What do you suggest?
Spindoc: Leave this one with me. I will contact your propaganda department after this meeting. If we can arrange that every time one of your demons creates trouble, they whisper that it is you, simple Man will assume that you are everywhere.
HaSatan: If you can get the demons to whisper ‘The devil made me do it,’ or ‘I am always under attack from the devil,’ enough times, simple Man will start to repeat it and if he repeats it often enough, he is going to believe it is me all the time. I like it.
Spindoc: The second of the attributes of Almighty is that He is all-powerful. This is going to be a bit more of a problem. As I see it, we are going to have to lay down a more long term strategy. Do you remember the first meeting we had?
HaSatan: The one where we discussed developing multiple religions?
Spindoc: Yes, that is the one. How about it if we have many of them fighting one another, say two sides: one representing darkness and the other light? We may even have some of the polytheistic ones having two factions of equal strength constantly battling it out with no outright winner?
HaSatan: The poly…whatsit?
Spindoc: I can see that the third attribute of Almighty, His omniscience, His all-knowing, will be eve a greater challenge. A polytheistic religion is where there is more than one god. I have an idea. What if we have three major races of simple Man over many centuries having a pantheon similar to each other but we will give the gods names that are recognisable with their race.
HaSatan: I cannot see how this is going to help me with my lack of power?
Spindoc: It is not meant to give you more power, and nothing can diminish the power of Almighty. What it will do, it will plant in the minds of simple Man that there is a battle between two high deities that have similar powers. Simple Man will become used to thinking that you are as powerful as Almighty.
HaSatan: I get it now! It is not the truth that matters, so much as what simple Man thinks is the truth.
Spindoc: Now to that third attribute of all-knowing. What we may have to do is set up a system by where you have messenger-demons bringing you information. Over time, with the plans for the other two attributes bearing fruit, it will appear as though you know it all.
Do this scenario ring any bells in your conscience? If it does, then you may also have been brought up with the lies Almighty Yahuah does not care what happens to His children. Nothing can be further from the truth. Yahuah gave His one and only begotten Son as a substitute, to take the eternal punishment upon Himself, so that all people may be reconciled with Him. Does this sound like He does not care?

Father, we thank you for the power of your Word and that Word was made flesh in the Messiah Yeshua so that in believing in His life, death and resurrection we may have eternal life with you.
If you want to accept Father’s offer of salvation through the Messiah Yeshua, you need to ask Him in prayer along these lines. You may use these or your own words but they must be genuine as Father knows our very hearts and nothing is hidden from Him.
“Father, I am a sinner who needs forgiveness of my sins through your Son, the Messiah Yeshua. Please forgive me of all my past sins as I accept that, Messiah Yeshua my Saviour, has taken upon Himself my punishment. By your Spirit, help me to live a life worthy of His sacrifice. Thank you, Father, for making the perfect way back to you.”
Remember, the Judge looks into your heart, mind and future.

If you have sincerely called out to Father for forgiveness, then eternal life is assured. Salvation does not take away the day-to-day questions of life, nor is it a short-cut away from trials or tribulations. Nevertheless, knowing your eternal life is secure, any temporary trial can be overcome by looking at the completed work of Messiah Yeshua.

Breaking Matzah
Our Saviour welcomes all His Family to join in this memorial. If you have accepted Messiah Yeshua as your Master and Saviour please take the next few moments to seek Father and to ensure that all is right between Him and you and between you and your Brothers and Sisters. If not, please put this right before continuing.
If you have not yet accepted Him into your life, then we encourage you to seek Him while it is still possible, as time is running out. When He returns or if you pass away then it will be too late. Please do not partake of the matzah and wine as in doing so, it gives thanks for the broken body (matzah) and shed blood (wine) for and a witness of salvation.
On the night of the Master’s betrayal, He took the matzah, blessed it and broke it saying ‘This is my Body broken for you; take and eat it as a memorial to Me.’
Bless the matzah saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the Universe, who brings forth matzah from the earth.
Break and eat the matzah (sharing it if within a group setting):
After the meal He took the Cup, blessed it saying ‘This is my Blood poured out for you for the remission of sins; take and drink it as a memorial to me.’
Bless the wine saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the Universe, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Thanksgiving prayer: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the universe, who gives us, in Yeshua, all that we will ever need. In your lovingkindness and mercy, you rebuild broken lives. You bless us, in Yeshua, with a perfect blessing. Ameyn.
