08/03/2019 – Leap Month

In order that the lunar calendar of 28 days continuously ties in with the solar calendar, every 3rd., 6th. 8th., 11th., 14th., 17th., and 19th. years of a 19 year cycle has an additional month called Adar II. These years are known as Pregnant Years.

Along with the association with Adar representing fire, glory and strength, it is associated with pregnancy.

 

 “Now the birth of Yahusha the Messiah was like this; for after His mother, Maryam, was engaged to Yosef, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant by the Ruach HaKodesh” (Matt. 1:18).

“But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you. For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. For when they are saying, ‘Shalom and safety,’ then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.”     (1 Thess. 5:1-3).

Blessed are you Yahuah `Elohiym for you have blessed us with the Renewed Moon, the Renewed Covenant and renewed mercies. Blessed are you Yahuah, for your loving-kindness. Ameyn.

“Praise Yahuah! Praise Yahuah from the heavens! Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels! Praise Him, all His host! Praise Him, sun and moon! Praise Him, all you shining stars! Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, You waters that are above the heavens. Let them praise the name of Yahuah, For He commanded, and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.” (Psa. 148:1-6).

“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your `Elohiym: I am Yahuah your `Elohiym.” (Num. 10:10).
