Shabbat Word

28/12/2019

Shabbat shalom!

Psalm 7:1-18

7:1) A shiggayon by David, which he sang to Yahuah, concerning the words of Kush the  Binyamini.

7:2) Yahuah, my `Elohiym, I take refuge in you.

Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,

7:3) Lest they tear apart my soul like a lion,

Ripping it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

7:4) Yahuah, my `Elohiym, if I have done this,

If there is iniquity in my hands,

7:5)  If I have rewarded evil to him who was at shalom with me

(Yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),

7:6) Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it;

Yes, let him tread my life down to the ground,

And lay my glory in the dust.                                      Selah.

7:7) Arise, Yahuah, in your anger.

Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries.

        Awake for me.

        You have commanded judgment.

7:8)  Let the congregation of the peoples surround you.

         Rule over them on high.

7:9)  Yahuah administers judgment to the peoples.

Judge me, Yahuah, according to my righteousness,

And to my integrity that is in me.

7:10) Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,

          But establish the righteous;

Their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous `Elohiym.

7:11) My shield is with `Elohiym,

Who saves the upright in heart.

7:12) `Elohiym is a righteous judge,

Yes, an `El who has indignation every day.

7:13) If a man does not relent, he will sharpen his sword;

He has bent and strung his bow.

7:14) He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death.

He makes ready his flaming arrows.

7:15) Behold, he travails with iniquity;

       Yes, he has conceived mischief,

       And brought forth falsehood.

7:16) He has dug a hole,

And has fallen into the pit which he made.

7:17) The trouble he causes shall return to his own head.

His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.

7:18) I will give thanks to Yahuah according to His righteousness,

And will sing praise to the name of Yahuah Elyon.

A Word

THE LAST TRAIN

This week’s Shabbat Word is again slightly different. My wife, Ann was given a prophetic word to reveal to the assembly we regularly attend. Although FGA prefers to use Scriptural words and phrases, I have repeated the prophecy as it was given out.

I saw an old fashioned carriage train. The train carriages had roofs but no sides in it.

I saw the people I was praying with on Wednesday night on this train.

I saw the furnace of the train being stoked up with fuel. A big roaring fire.

I clearly heard God say THIS IS THE LAST TRAIN. There is no doubt in my mind that the last train was the message from God. I felt an assurance that those on the train were SAFE. We were on our way to the next stop…Eternity.

I sat there in prayer asking the Lord to reveal what HE was showing me.

I feel that God is telling ALL of us that there is no second train coming. This is it. We are on our way to Eternity. Time is short, we are in the last days.

I also believe that the unsaved people of the world do not know or believe about that last train. Many Christians have turned their backs on that last train and walked in the opposite direction back into the world. WHY?……because the churches are not stoking up the fire….the fire isn’t even lit in some churches.

Imagine if the people of the world knew this was the last train to a more glorious place where we have no pain, no anger or hate. A place filled with joy and love and perfection.

They would break the church doors down to get a seat on that train and leave the vile, dark, corrupt world behind.

We assume the people of the world know about this last train. They don’t. Who is going to tell them?

WE ARE.

One thing we know for sure. It doesn’t matter how many people get on that train. There is a seat for EVERYONE on that last train for SALVATION.

I believe the furnace on the train being stocked up burning was THE HOLY SPIRIT.

We have the HOLY SPIRIT, and a seat on the last train.

We are already on that journey and the train driver is THE LORD.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” John 14:6).

Halleluyah, what a prophecy!

I do believe that this prophecy is for three groups of people: 1) Born Again Believers; 2) Non-Believers and 3) Jewish people.

Born Again Believers

Over thirty years ago, when Ann and I first came to Faith, we heard this admonition: “If you knew that Messiah was to return in exactly twenty-four hours, what would you do?” Most of the listeners said that they would rush around to their unsaved family and plead, argue or drag them screaming and fighting into the Kingdom. Some said that they would knock on the neighbours’ doors and do likewise. All said that they would spend the time reaching out to people: no one said that they would sleep.

“Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If therefore you won’t watch, I will come as a thief, and you won’t know what hour I will come upon you.” (Rev. 3:3). Although it was thirty years ago, and Yahuah in His long-suffering and infinite mercy, has withheld Messiah’s return. There will come a day when Messiah will return within twenty-four hours.

How will you be spending the next twenty-four hours? It would not be possible to spend every hour of every day reaching people for the Master, but how much time do we spend? It may not be as on-to-one evangelism, but we can give out tracts, leaflet drops, praying or speak a ‘word in season’.

There will be a time when Yahuah’s long-suffering will come to an end, ushering in Messiah’s return. There will be a final person to be saved; could it be someone to whom you spoke?

The train is at the station and ready to pull out. All that it is waiting for is that last ‘passenger’ to board.

Non-Believers

I am sure that everyone has, at some time, watched a ‘disaster’ movie. Usually it involves some form of apocalyptic event, a natural catastrophe, contagion or celestial danger. An expert is used to explain to the viewers what is taking place, what is to come and what must be done to escape.

If you had to live through a disaster movie, knowing that the end of the world was to occur within the next twenty-four hours, how would you spend it? If the expert told you that there were seats left on a train to whisk you away to safety, would you take up the offer? I am pretty sure that you would. Not only that, but you would go around family, friends and neighbours frantically pleading with them to join you.

I may be no expert in geology, astronomy or pandemics but I can assure you that there is a disaster coming soon everyone.

The Bible tells us that the world, as we know it today, is coming to an end. The final book’s full title being The Revelation of Our Master Yahusha The Messiah By Yochanan Bar Zawdi, commonly abbreviated to Revelation. Another title for this book is The Apocalypse which just means revealing or unveiling. However, due to it describing the events at the end of time, the world gets the meaning of apocalypse as being some form of global disaster.

In this book, Scripture clearly reveals that there will be a Day of Judgement for every person ever born. Those who have acknowledged their disobedience to Yahuah’s Word, either before their death or the world ends and accepted His salvation through His Son, welcome aboard the train: next stop Heaven.

Those who have rejected His offer, Revelation warns us that they are on a one-way trip to Hell, the place of eternal calamity and punishment. No one knows when the world will end or when we are to die, but each day that passes by is one day closer.

Climb on board, the ticket is free you only have to, “… Believe in the Master Yahusha the Messiah, and you will be saved…” (John 16:31).

Jewish people

Many Jewish people believe that the train of salvation only stops at their station and Gentiles will have no seat on board. Likewise many so called ‘Christians’ believe that the train passed through the Jewish Nation two thousand years ago, and the Nation did not get on board. The train has now come to the Gentiles.

Both are wrong. There has only ever been and will only ever be one train.

Rabbi Yahusha ben Yosef HaMashiach declared, “…”I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” (John 14:6). If you are Jewish, you may not accept these words. Then search Moshe, the Writings and the Prophets. They will all point to the sin of the world, the need of a Redeemer and the perfect Sacrifice of the Lamb of Yahuah, who alone can take away our sins.

Yochanan ben Zekharyah warned the Pharisees and Sadducees, “Do not think to yourselves, ‘We have Avraham for our father,’ for I tell you that Yahuah is able to raise up children to Avraham from these stones.” (Matt. 3:9). It is not the physical seed of Avraham that will escape judgement, but the spiritual seed.

If you have any doubt, study Tehillim (the Book of Psalms). Whenever you read ‘your salvation’ you are reading Yahusha.

To all those who are still standing on the railway platform, what is your reason for not getting on board the Salvation Express?

Do you believe that there is nothing after death? Or that your physical ancestry will sufficient?

When you finally close your eyes on this life, it will be too late chage your mind. For you, the train has already left

If you want to accept Father’s offer of salvation through Messiah Yahusha, you need to ask Him in prayer along these lines. Use your own words but they must be genuine as Father knows our very hearts and nothing is hidden from Him.

Father, I am a sinner who needs forgiveness through your Son, Messiah Yahusha. Please forgive me of all my past sins as I accept that, Messiah Yahusha my Saviour, has taken upon Himself my punishment. By your Spirit, help me to live a life worthy of His sacrifice. Thank you, Father, for making this way back to you.”

Remember, the Judge looks into your heart, mind and future.

In other words, when you say a Believer’s prayer you had better mean it.

Father, we thank you for the power of your Word and that Word was made flesh in Messiah Yahusha so that in believing in His Life, Death and Resurrection we may have eternal life with you.

Ameyn.

If you have honestly said such a prayer as this, and truly renounced the sin in your life and accepted Father’s salvation through Messiah Yahusha, then please drop us an e-mail at FGA to let us know. This not only builds up our faith, it offers an opportunity to prayfully support you. Even if you have Believing friends or family, we at FGA would be privileged to pray for you. Please contact us at ezra710@firstgenerationassembly.com. Having believed and prayed, now please find a local faith-based church to attend. Drop FGA an e-mail so that we can rejoice with you and pray and support you over the coming weeks.

If you have sincerely called out to Father for forgiveness, then eternal life is assured. No more question marks on your eternal life, only a full stop. Salvation does not take away the day-to-day questions of life, nor is it a short-cut away from trials or tribulations. Nevertheless, knowing your eternal life is secure, any temporary trial can be overcome by looking at the completed work of Messiah Yahusha.

All blessings to you.

Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls

But in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” (Prov. 11:14).

Breaking Matzah

Our Saviour welcomes all His Family to join in this memorial. If you have accepted Messiah Yahusha as your Master and Saviour please take the next few moments to seek Father and to ensure that all is right between Him and you and between you and your Brothers and Sisters. If not, please put this right before continuing.

If you have not yet accepted Him into your life, then we encourage you to seek Him while it is still possible, as time is running out. When He returns or if you pass away then it will be too late. Please do not partake of the matzah and wine as in doing so, it gives thanks for the broken body (matzah) and shed blood (wine) for and a witness of salvation.

On the night of the Master’s betrayal, He took the matzah, blessed it and broke it saying ‘This is my Body broken for you; take and eat it as a memorial to Me.’

Bless the matzah saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the Universe, who brings forth matzah from the earth.

Break and eat the matzah (sharing it if within a group setting):

After the meal He took the Cup, blessed it saying ‘This is my Blood poured out for you for the remission of sins; take and drink it as a memorial to me.’

Bless the wine saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the Universe, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Drink the wine (sharing it if within a group setting):

Thanksgiving prayer: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the universe, who gives us, in Yahusha, all that we will ever need. In your lovingkindness and mercy, you rebuild broken lives. You bless us, in Yahusha, with a perfect blessing. Ameyn.
